Obituary For Rev. James Perry Jr.
The relatives and friends of Rev. James Perry, Jr. and those of his wife, Blanche Perry; those of his children, Edward (Sharon) Ellison, Rickie Ellison, Donovan Murray and Reshema (Shahid) Clark; and those of his siblings, Rev. Shirley Davis and Rev. Trenton Lambright are invited to attend his home going service on Friday, April 19, 2019, 11:00AM at St. Peters A.M.E. Church, 4650 Sanders Ave., N. Charleston, SC. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Garden. Rev. Perry will repose from 6:00PM - 8:00PM at the mortuary on Thursday, April 18, 2019 for a wake service.

My condolences to the Perry family. I pray God continues to comfort the family during this time of bereavement. May the many cherished and loving memories of James continue to comfort his family and friends. A comforting thought to keep in mind is at Psalm 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress." May you all have calming and pleasant thoughts this time.

I’m sorry for your loss. I knew Rev Perry from working with him at the Charleston naval shipyard. He was a good man. He will be missed.
