Obituary For Barbara Elizabeth Bright

Ms. Barbara E. Bright 82, of Charleston, SC (West Ashley) entered into eternal rest on August 27, 2020. Ms. Bright is survived by her children, Herbert"Linard" Bright, Verletta "Liz" Bright, Pearl Bright, Kim Bright(Billy), Jacqui Bright, Charlene Phillips(Ralph), and Charles Bright(Nicole). Ms. Bright's memory will also be cherished by her 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. A walk-through viewing will take place on Friday, September 04, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the mortuary. Ms. Bright's life will be celebrated at a Private Graveside Service on Saturday, September 05, 2020, which will be live streamed via The Low Country Mortuary Facebook Page at 11 AM. The Bright Family extends its deepest gratitude for all prayers and expressions of sympathy.

    My condolences to the family of Barbara Bright. I pray God continues to comfort and strengthen the family during this time of bereavement. May the many cherished and fond memories of Barbara continue to comfort her family and friends. A comforting thought is at Psalm 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress." May you all have calming and pleasant thoughts during this time.

    Ms Barbara was one of the true mothers of the borough,funny,tell you right from wrong,my fondest memories is when me,verletta berniece,Millie we had a club as teenagers and ms Barbara and my mother made our matching outfit,love her then,love her now.mama Barbara sleep on,God called a true angel home ,,to her family you had a awesome mom.live by her legacy,God Bless you all
