Obituary For Delinzy Grant

Mrs. Delinzy Grant of North Charleston entered into eternal rest on May 30, 2022. Mrs. Grant was the wife of Mr. Derek L. Grant, the daughter of Mr. Peter Palmer and the late Clifford Mae Palmer, the step daughter of the late Rita Palmer, the mother of; Sharease Jenkins (Johnathan) and Paula Jackson, the sister of; Patricia Ragland (Joseph), Sidney Palmer (Edna), Rev. Vincent Palmer (Karen), Lamar Palmer, Christie Palmer, Kevin Palmer (Tina) and Daphane Johnson (Larry) and the sister in law of Blanton Grant (Julia). The Home Going Service for Mrs. Grant will take place on Thursday, June 9, 2022, 11:00 AM at Carolina Memorial Gardens Chapel 7113 Rivers Ave., N. Charleston, SC. She will be laid to rest in Carolina Memorial Gardens, N. Charleston, SC. The Walk Thru will take place on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the funeral home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Due to the COVID -19 pandemic, everyone is required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing.

    My heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Delinzy Grant. I know this is a very difficult time and I pray God continues to comfort and strengthen the family during this difficult time. May the many loving and cherished memories of Delinzy continue to comfort her family and friends. A comforting promise is stated at Psalm 147:3 "He heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds." May you all have calming and pleasant thought during this time.

    Mrs Lin was like a mom too me she always was nice we had a bond she always had my back on anything I wanted our last phone conversation I told her my mind ran on her she said she appreciate me calling too check on her and I told her that she knows that I love her she said yes I love you too Rickey not knowing that would be the last time we talked? She will truly be missed my heart goes out to Shaun and Paula her two girls and her husband Derrick?🙏🏾🙏🏾
