Obituary For Dorothy Elizabeth Cummings Cakley

Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Cummings Cakley entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 10, 2020 in Goose Creek, South Carolina. Mrs. Cakley is the wife of the late David Cakley, Sr., the mother of Tricia Woodward (Edward), David Cakley (Alicia) and Faith E. DeBerry, and her devoted niece Jeanette Allen (James). A walk-thru will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 6PM-8PM at the mortuary. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at the Union Baptist Church 4428 Piggly Wiggly Drive, North Charleston, South Carolina at 11:00 AM. Please Continue to keep the Cakley family in your prayers. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic we do require the wearing of masks for the viewing and for the service.

    Our deepest sympathy to the families during this time of sorrows. We have known Sister Cakely for years and had come to love and respect her. We will miss her beautiful singing and piano playing. She was always courteous and greeted you with a smile. May God comfort and strengthen the families during this time of sorrows.
