Condolences

My condolences of the behalf of the Sever (Banks) Martin family. I just found out yesterday that our beloved Aunt Nellie went home to be with the Lord. My mother Jessie visited her often until my mother passed in 2017. That's the last time that I saw Aunt Nellie at the funeral. She was walking great (with her cane) and stop and gave her condolences to me and my siblings. Aunt Nellie was the last longest living Aunt and Great Aunt in our family.. My heartfelt condolences to her family and children. The bible says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Reverend Dr. Michele Branch (Jessie Martin Branch's Daughter.

Dear family of 'Miss Nellie.' We grew up in Charleston and when we would visit with my Aunt Grace Fulton Morrison in Harrisburg, her friend Miss Nellie would always be there. Aunt Grace passed last year and I feel the friends are together again. We loved Miss Nellie. She was a gem, so kind and vibrant. We loved her cooking and are thoroughly in awe of the beautiful life she lived. Our condolences and love to the family. Sleep in Peace Miss Nellie. .......Karen Wigfall Craig, my mom Marian Fulton Wigfall and Family

Fondly known as "Miss Nellie" she was well loved and was missed as soon as she moved to South Carolina. Miss Nellie always had a kind word, a puzzle, a doll, and a piece of cake to share when I stopped by to visit when she lived in Harrisburg. When I served as LLR of Harrisburg Assembly Miss Nellie chaired our Sickle Cell Charity raising funds to donate to assist others. May God continue to bless the family as they celebrate her life which was well lived!

A heavy heart for a best friend and his family's G-Ma. I had the great joy and blessing of attending G-Ma Banks 105 B'Day party a couple years back in Harrisburg, PA. What a joy it was to be in her presence and the love and support surrounded by the Monroe/Frazier family. A Matriarch that live life with a passion for others and most of all her family. Some say it is a sorrowful day, I on the other hand, say "Let's celebrate the life Ma' Banks lived and filled many of hearts during her time here on earth". Rest in paradise, Cecil aka' Big C'.
