Obituary For Alphonso Gadsden
Alphonso Bernard Gadsden, affectionately known as “Lil Bit” was the son of the late Dorothy Gadsden. He was born on September 19, 1970 in Jersey City, NJ. Lit Bit attended schools in Charleston County.
Alphonso was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy “Dotty” Gadsden, grandmother Lucille “Momma” Frierson, grandfathers Robert “Fessa” Gadsden and James “Pop” Frierson, uncles Benjamin Gadsden, Floyd Gadsden, Robert Gadsden III, and Theodore Gadsden.
He leaves to cherish his memories his older brother Robert (Winifred) Gadsden, Aunt Priscilla Drennen who cared for him like her own, and special cousin Pamela “April” Moyd. He also leaves behind his great-aunt Carrie Hutchinson, Aunt Mary “Louise” Gadsden, Uncles Isaac “Bubba” Frierson and Anthony Gadsden, a host of cousins and friends whom he adored as family.
The Home Going Service will take place on Friday, May 31, 2024, 11:00 AM at the funeral home. The Walk Thru will take place on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at the funeral home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

To the family Alfonso , so sorry for your loss I was one of Mr Gadsden transportation driver well manners man will respectful and a cool dude he was getting his life together with the Lord we would always talk about God and different spiritual songs that we love he was definitely into the Lord he's made his peace with God so family y'all continue to be blessed hold on to God's unchanging hand because he knew the Lord for himself I can definitely say that many conversations many songs about the Lord on our vehicle just finding out about him sending my prayers with you and the rest of the family.
