Obituary For Annie Hunter Moses
Annie Hunter Moses was born November 8, 1935, in Cades, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Jannie Ruth Smith and Mr. Sidney Epps and entered in eternal rest on February 20th, 2025 in Charleston, SC.
She was educated in Williamsburg and Charleston County school systems. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was a member of Charity Baptist Church. She was matriarch of the Hunter, Epps and Moses families. Although small in statue, she was a woman of great faith and strength who enjoyed thrifting, being outdoors gardening, relaxing on the porch and being in charge (always giving orders).
She was married to the late David E. Moses and gave birth to 7 children even though she was mother to many others. Mrs. Moses was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Betty Lou Smith, 4 Epps siblings, her son Terry D. Moses (Ann) and grandsons Jason Brown and Jamison Parker.
Cherished and loving memories will remain with her children: Essie C. Bell (Burmmie, Sr.), Sherald D. Moses, Leroy E. Moses, Wanda R. Moses, David A. Moses, Angela M. Singleton (Ellis); The Epps Family, 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 4 great great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
