Obituary For Barbara Brave

On August 5, 1953, the Lord saw fit to introduce to this world Ms. Barbara Ann Robinson. Ms. Barbara was the daughter of the late Ms. Earline Singleton and Mr. James Robinson. Barbara grew up having 3 siblings, whom have all preceded her and gone on to Jesus; her sister, the late Edith Carr and her brothers; the late Mr. Vernon Singleton and the late Sylvester Singleton. Ms. Barbara and all her siblings attended the Georgetown County School System. It was there that she graduated Howard High School and met her husband, the late Mr. Laverne Brave. The two married in 1970, and together they had their one and only son, Mr. LaOcia Brave.

The couple lived in Georgetown, SC. Mr. Mrs. Brave later divorced and Mrs. Brave moved to Columbia, SC where she became an employee for SC Health and Human Services. In 1988 they moved to Summerville where Mrs. Barbara later started her own Home Health Care Company. She later moved to El Paso, TX to care for her younger brother Sylvester. Upon returning to SC, Mrs. Brave retired and stayed active in the community caring for others. Mrs. Barbara took sick in early August and never fully recovered from her illness.

Ms. Brave leaves to cherish her memories her only son, LaOcia Brave of Moncks Corner, SC, her grandchildren; Shanine Lewis and Demonte Richardson, a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She will be greatly missed always and forever by those who knew her.

To The Family, Please Accept My Heartfelt Condolences. Truly the loss of a precious loved one is most difficult. Please find comfort in the promise our most loving Heavenly Father Jehovah God gives us in Revelation 21:4"And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more; neither will mourning; nor outcry; nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Yes, We can look forward to a time soon to come when all suffering including death will done away with forever. For more encouraging information from the bible.
