Berkeley Blocker, Jr., was the fifth child of Berkeley Blocker, Sr. And Emma Jane Walling. He was the baby boy with four sisters Betty, Ruby, Bobbie and Linda. His favorite pastime was driving around his beloved Charleston. He felt great joy to have been a part of the city and construction team that built Maple Street Bridge. He skillfully painted many homes and hotels during his lifelong career. But his greatest joy was painting the New Auditorium for Riverview Baptist Church. He was an active part of the North Charleston Senior Center as well as Pinecrest Baptist Church.
