Obituary For Carol Jean Tucker
Carol Jean Tucker, 57 daughter of the late Johnny Lee Gillyard and the late Betty Capers Gillyard. Carol was born on January 19, 1964 in Jacksonville, Florida. Carol entered eternal rest on Sunday, August 22,2021.
Carol was a graduate of Charleston County school district. She joined church at an early age.
Carol was always giving encouraging word and was known to others as a “Jack of all trades” She was preceded in death by her older brother Johnny Gillyard and her daughter Kristina Gillyard. Carol leaves a legacy to cherish her memories: Her daughter Miss Ashley Kyler Gillyard. The two sons she never had Daniel Middleton and Kendell Williams. Her brothers Danny Gillyard, Micheal Gillyard, and Wendell Gillyard. A god brother Romaro Robinson of Jacksonville, Florida. A sister Cathy Walker (Earnell “Mr.Gill” Walker). A special nephew Robert Wilson (Narisha Grant). Two Nieces Brooke Williams (Dominike Williams) and Amber Walker. Two grand nieces, Khloe Williams and Zoey Heyward. Five grand nephews, Robert Wilson Jr., Dominike Williams Jr., Kendell Williams, Kaiden Williams, and Kaine Williams. A host of other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 12:00 PM on August 28, 2021 at Toby Cemetery, Islandton, SC 29929. The walk through will be on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at The Low Country Mortuary 1852 E. Montague Ave, North Charleston, SC. Due to the COVID pandemic, we will be practicing social distancing and face masks will be required for the funeral services and walk through.

"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to my Cousin Carol. I will never forget you. I still miss Johnny and I will miss you too. Family, be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go. Love always.
