Obituary For Carrie Jenkins Harper
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Mrs. Carrie J. Harper, of Summerville, SC, who departed on September 20th, 2024 at the age of 95. She was born February 02, 1929, in Charleston, SC to James Mack and Daisy Green-Mack, whom preceded her in death.
She married in 1945 to Woodrow Sadler Sr. Whom preceded her in death and in 1962 Carrie married Willie J. Harper whom preceded her in death. Carrie had 6 children. Patricia A.Gagum whom preceded her in death, Woodrow Sadler Jr. whom preceded her in death.
She leaves behind her daughter Gloria E. Dunlap, of (North Charleston), her daughter Carrie M. Kelly of (Summerville), her son Charlmus L. Johnson of (Summerville), her son James B. Harper of (Goose Creek), 14 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 31 great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, a host of cousins, family and friends to celebrate her life.
The Home Going Service will take place on Friday, September 27, 2024, 2:00 PM at Summerville Church of Christ, 413 Old Trolley Rd, Summerville, SC 29485. She will be laid to rest in Dorchester Memory Gardens. The Walk Thru on Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 6 PM to 8 PM at the funeral home.

My candle is burning in honor of my aunt Carrie Harper who will truly be missed. But always loved and God truly loves her and blessed her with 95 years. What a blessing she's now traveling with the angels and smiling on us from above. I prayed that all of us. continue to walk the walk that aunt Carrie walked so that we may all meet again 1 day on the right side of Jesus. I pray that he covers you all in his blood today and keep you all strong to know that aunt Carrie is fine looking down on us and waiting to see. Us again, 1 day in the mighty name of Jesus. I love you all and stay blessed.
