On May 30th of 2020, at the Ralph H Johnson VA Hospital in Charleston, three bells sounded for Charles Michael Mabry to come ashore. As a Child of God, through acceptance of the Savior, Jesus Christ for the last 25 years, he stepped ashore to find it Heaven. A US Navy Veteran and retired security officer, born in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Minnie B Kimbrell Mabry and Charles Robert Mabry, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Denise Sherbert Mabry and three children, Anna Strawman, Charles Michael Mabry II, and Katherine Mabry. Nearly 40 years of marriage – July 1, 1980 until May 30, 2020 ‘til death do us part’, A Memorial Service will be held with military rites at The Low Country Mortuary on the anniversary of their wedding vows to celebrate his life. Accommodations for out of town family and friends can be arranged, Because of the Corvid 19, the family respectfully ask that masks be worn.
