Obituary For Daisy Gathers
Mrs. Daisy Gathers of North Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 2, 2022. Mrs. Gathers was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Anthony, the mother of Wayne Gathers (Mary), the sister of Roosevelt Anthony, Jr. (Leola), Mary Cabrera (Roberto) and Julia Williams. The Home Going Service for Mrs. Gathers will take place on Saturday, July 9, 2022, 10:00 AM at St. Peters AME Church, N. Charleston, SC. She will be laid to rest in St. Peters AME Cemetery. The Walk Thru will take place on Friday, July 8, 2022 at the funeral home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone is required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing. Anyone wanting to attend the service on Saturday, will need to arrive before 9:30 am for temperature checks and screening. Anyone refusing temperature checks and screening will not be permitted to attend. Face Mask MUST be worn during entire service. Upon arrival, proceed to Educational Building Entrance for temp checks and screening.

I've known Mrs Daisy and Mr Adam for over 40 years. Ms Daisy always had a kind word and a big smile for every one she meet. She is one of the greatest ladies I've ever known. Rest In Peace my friends. May God Bless.

Dear Family: I wish you strength and comfort through this difficult time. Daisy was a lady I greatly admired. She was soft spoken, kind and thoughtful. We were choir members in the soprano section. She will now be singing in the heavenly choir. I will miss her. Rest in Peace. Emma L Lee

Daisy was an sweet kind hearted person, she was my loving church sister.my special need daughter was her friend, we're going to miss her very much.

If Ms. Daisey worked at the Charleston AFB Exchange Main Store back in the 80's, then I also worked there in the Accounting office. I just adored her and her husband. She was always smiling and laughing at work. Missed her terribly when she left the exchange. My prayers for all of her family.
