Baby Diedrick Marquise Grant, Jr. was born February 14, 2024 in Charleston, SC to the parents of Ta’Shanta Morris and Deidrich Grant, Sr., grandparents; Sharnikia Morris, Terry Taylor, Sharon Coakley, Samuel Coakley (Dorethea Coakley) and great grandparents; Mary and Marion Welch.

Diedrich was also known as “DJ”. His time was short but he left us with a lot of memories from that big wide smile of his to the unconditional love that he received. DJ loved to eat, play, smile and sleep all day. He would be up all night. DJ will forever be remembered for his flawless swag and unique style.

His memories will continue to live through his siblings, his twin; Dejuan Grant, his oldee siblings; Queshawn Clement, Deveah Hrrison,Tamaron Harrison, Kaison Morris, Tiana Grant and Skylar Jones, his aunts; Lasagna Morris and Laquesha Moris and uncles; Jasmin Hudson and Monteco Morris plus more family and friends

Deidrich made his transition into eternity on October 31, 2024 where he leaves to join his aunt, ShaTerria L. Whaley, cousin, Kyre Washington, Jasmond Grant and Damarion Champaign and uncle Kevin Joshua Coakley.

The Home Going Service will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2024, 1:00 PM at the House of God, 2050 Hampton Ave., N. Charleston, SC. He will be laid to rest in Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery. The Walk Thru will take place on Friday, November 8, 2024 at the funeral home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
