Obituary For Derrick Pope
Mr. Derrick Pope of North Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest on March 12, 2024. Mr. Pope was the son of the late Mr. Isaac Pope and Mrs. Lillian Horlback Tollerson, the father of; Sade Huger, Essence Webb and Derrick Webb, the brother of; Tonya Hazel (Wellington) and the grandfather of; Ayden Young, Wynter Johnson, De'Quan Webb and Ricardo Johnson. The Home Going Service will take place on Saturday, March 23, 2024, 12:00 noon at Charity Missionary Baptist Church, 1544 E. Montague Ave., N. Charleston, SC 29405. The Walk Thru will take place on Friday, March 22, 2024 at the funeral home from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Derrick was an emotional bully to me back in middle school. He was untrustworthy and loved to humiliate or belittle me. Derrick, may God have mercy on your soul. B.J.

To Tonya and the Pope family. I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences during this hour of bereavement. Derrick has always had a huge personality, fun loving spirit, and quite the jokester! Growing up with you both on Murray Hill and hanging out at the park was never a dull moment, especially at Hurdy's! Derrick was a good guy we had the privilege to become best of friends Pope and I shared many good times together we shared a place together in Columbia SC Pope also moved to Mi.to see what it was like when Mi.got a lot of snow he really enjoyed it and could make friends no matter where he lived. Pope was passionate about cooking and enjoyed to listening to old school music My friend you will be missed by me until we meet again rest my friend you fought that battle to the end Luv you Derrick Pope
