Obituary For Donna Jerisha Jakes

Mrs. Donna Jerisha Jakes entered into eternal rest on March 10, 2021 in Charleston, South Carolina. Mrs. Jakes is the wife of Gary Jakes, Sr, the mother of, Shaquetta(Tyrone)Ware, Gary Jakes, Jr, Germaine Jakes, Shayla Jakes, Gabriel Jakes, the grandmother of, Joshua Jakes, Jordan Jakes, Jonae Ware, and Amara Jakes, the sister of, Alfred(Gwen)Hassell, Jerome Hassell, and Cheri(Donald)Mack, Celebration of Life Services will take place 11AM at Sea Coast Church North Charleston 5505 North Rhett Avenue, North Charleston, SC there will be a walk-thru at the mortuary on Friday, March 20, 2021 6PM-8PM. Interment will be at the Riverview Memorial Gardens 3715 Azalea Drive, North Charleston, South Carolina. DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC WE DO REQUIRE THE USE OF MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING WHILE IN ATTENDANCE AT SERVICES AND WALK-THRU'S.

    To the Jakes and Hassell family you all have my heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your love one. I was deeply saddened when I found out that Risha had passed away, she was an amazing and awesome person, when we would occasionally run into each other and in talking no matter what we would talk about the Lord. It's sad to lose such a beautiful person, but rejoice in knowing that she is absent from the body and present with the Lord. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
