Mrs. Dorothy Mae Washington of North Charleston, SC entered into eternal on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. Mrs. Washington was the wife of the late Roland Washington, the mother of; Melvin Gadsden (Doris), Ada Washington - Moore (the late Donald), Elliott Washington, Sr (Ruthie) and Sebrina Washington, the sister of; Ruth Sumter, Raymond Gadsden (Clara), Linda Gass (Kenneth) and Ronald Gadsden, siblings that preceded her in death; Roy Gadsden, Marion Greer, Oritha Jones and Naomi Young. The Home Going Service will take place on Wednesday, February 22,2023, 11:00 AM at Zion RMUE Church 4607 Dorsey Avenue, N. Charleston, SC. She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. The Wake Service will take place on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at the church from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
