I had the pleasure of working with Eddie at HPD. He also worked with me at the CT Convention Center after he retired. Eddie was one the nicest people I had the pleasure of working with. His soft demeanor and strong work ethic stood out. To his family, know Eddie will always be a part of HPD history. Bob O'Connell (HPD retired).

Eddie was truly one of the kindest people I have ever had the privilege of meeting. I met him when he as the father of my brother's girlfriend at the time, Jenn. From the very first time we visited, he treated my family with incredible warmth and generosity. When I brought my husband and two young children down to visit Nick and Jenn, Eddie didn't just welcome us into his home, he insisted that we stay in his own master bedroom so that we would be comfortable. That gesture alone spoke volumes about the kind of person he was. He went out of his way to cook dinner for us and made sure my young children felt completely at ease, as if we had been part of the family for years. Every time we visited, Eddie showed the same genuine kindness and hospitality. I always looked forward to catching up with him. He had a love for life that was truly contagious, and being around him was something special. He had a way of making people feel valued, welcome, and cared for. I will always remember Eddie for his generosity, his warmth, and the joy he brought to those around him. His kindness left a lasting impression on me and my family, and his memory will stay with me forever. - Megan Heinrich
