Obituary For Elaine Townsend

Elaine Townsend formerly of North Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest on May 22, 2024. Ms. Townsend was the daughter of; the late William Townsend and the late Elise Hamilton. the mother of; Cornealius Townsend (Saymay), Latesha S,. Dennis and Williemae M. Dennis, the sister of; Theodore Hamilton (Gwenetta), Harvey W. Hamilton, Alvin Townsend (Samuella), Mildred Brittingham and Barbara Williams (Willie). The Home Going Service will take place on Saturday, June 1, 2024, 11:00 AM at Union Baptist Church, 4428 Piggly Wiggly Drive, N. Charleston, SC. She will be laid to rest in Aiken Cemetery, Hollywood, SC. The Walk Thru will take place on Friday, May 31, 2024 at the funeral home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

    My sincere condolences to Neal.Tisha,and Monique and the entire family. I will miss my friend . Elaine and I had lots of laugh and fun together. We were childhood friends from kindergarten thru High school. We sung on junior choir, young adult choir and mass choir oh and women's choir. We also had Sunday school classes together.
