Mrs. Farlistar (Star) Rogers Mitchell 57 of Goose Creek, SC was born on March 2, 1964 and died on Thursday, September 23, 2021. Mrs. Mitchell is the wife of Carlton Mitchell, Sr.; Daughter of Willie Howard and Mattie Lee Clark Tell; Daughter in law of O. Roscoe Mitchell and Dorothy Mae Mitchell; Mother of Carleathia Mitchell, Carlton (Samantha) Mitchell Jr. and Franques (Eboni McKoy) Mitchell; Grandmother of De’Narius Jones, De’Asia Sanders, Ahmara Mitchell, Jahvari Mitchell and Ameer Mitchell; Sister of Modestine (Jasper) Clark, Zebedee (Dianna) Clark, Anthony (Priscilla) Carter, Gaylon (Sherrie) Rogers and Celia Tell. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM ~ Azalea Drive Church of Christ. Burial ~ Riverview Memorial Gardens, North Charleston, SC. Due to the COVID pandemic, we will be practicing social distancing and face masks will be required for the funeral services and walk through.

My sincere condolences to the Mitchell Family. I met Star back when I was in high school while working for Walmart in Goose Creek. She and my mom's friendship turned into a sisterhood and to me she was my aunt. In the midst of chaos, Star was always there with a beautiful spirit and smile to make things better. She will truly be missed by all.
