Dear Mel and Cassandra, Maya and Joe, and the Entire Family, Our family is with each of you in prayer this morning as you prepare to say good bye to Dear Mrs Geneva. She was a remarkable woman whose strength and spirit touched each of us. Her love and care for her family, and her friends, leaves a lasting legacy and a tremendous void. Mrs. Gen's wisdom, her quick wit, and her friendly nature, will always be remembered. We share in your grief and will hold you ever so close in our hearts and prayers in the days and months ahead. She was special to our family too. With Love, Doris & Jamie, Wanda, Judy and Andre Phipps

We are terribly saddened by the loss of your dear mother Geneva. Before she left Charleston years ago, we had the pleasure and privilege of having Geneva work with our family, and in particular, my mother, of blessed memory, Marian Birlant Slotin and my father (still going strong at age 97!!) Phil Slotin, along with their sons, Andy and David and their wives and children, Tracie, Marci, George, Isabella, Blake, Travis, Lane and Avery. Geneva was a always a pleasure to be around, constantly with a smile on her face, and interested in everything. She had many interests in life, but her family was most important to her as she spoke about them constantly. Our home seemed the warmest when Geneva, Queenie and Louise were present for so many dinners and holidays celebrations. I got great pleasure have intellectual conversations with her and throughout life's difficulties and losses, Geneva always gave sage advice and found the bright spot in which to give thanks. Well, we give thanks now for having known her and for loving her. It is befitting that Geneva passed away on the anniversary of my mother's birthday, February 25th. They can all now be with the Lord together again. May her memory be for a blessing always. Love, Andy Slotin and Family

I truly enjoyed my younger years and remember riding a Raleigh chopper bicycle in the area just off Highway 17
