Obituary For Henry L. Scott, Sr.
Mr. Henry L. Scott Sr., 66, of Goose Creek, S.C., beloved husband of Mrs. Pertrishia Judge Scott, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 24, 2025.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pertrishia Judge Scott; his children, Henry Scott Jr., Anishi Neely (William), and Ashley Scott (Tia); his adopted daughter, LaKeshia Hill; five grandchildren; and a granddaughter expected in May 2025. He also leaves behind his siblings: Thelma Williams, Juanita Dukes, Deloris Palmer (Walter), Shanda Johnson (Michael), Ethel Nelson (Lamont), Ervin Scott Jr., and Vincent Cash; one uncle, Frank Weans (Martha); two sisters-in-law, Shirley Washington and Mary Nelson; and three brothers-in-law, Lancy McClary, Donald Judge, and Leonard Judge.
Mr. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin Scott Sr. and Albertha Scott; one brother, Danny White; and five sisters: Mary Alice Dupree, Brenda McClary, Jeanette Davis, Gloria Gray, and Carmen Scott. He was also preceded in death by his sisters-in-law, Jenette Myers and Deloris Judge, and his brothers-in-law, Ronald Judge and West Gray.
He will be deeply missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, friends, and coworkers who loved him dearly.

To the Scott family. The joy of the Lord will be your strength. Dating back to our Mary Ford days, Henry has been the same. As we know success change some people, but I did not see that in Henry Scott. He would make sure he got to speak to me if he saw me and he always greeted me with a smile. His kindness, humor, and genuine concern for others were just a few of his good qualities. I will always remember his infectious laugh, and our days as young ushers in the church. Henry will live on in the memory of so many who knew and loved him.

Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Henry had a kind ❤️. Our family appreciated his caring heart as our relatives searched for comfort after Hurricane Katrina. He navigated living arrangements, etc. There were many acts of kindness he did that may never be acknowledged or noted. We knew his kind heart and serious business mind. May God be with you all doing this most trying time. Praying you all find peace.

Oh! How fond are my memories of Henry. It was so sad to hear of his demise. I will always remember him by the small things that so vividly characterized his life: religious convictions, willingness to help the less fortunate and love for family and friends.
