He was born on September 25, 1948, in Charleston, SC, and educated in the Beaufort County School District. He was the sixth of seven children born to this union. SWEET MEMORIES

My dad always started his day with prayer. I saw him faithfully fall to his knees every morning as long as he was able. He wasn’t a perfect man—as none of us are—but he was a faithful man, and I will miss his physical presence. His words of wisdom to love myself first are with me forever. Love you, Dad — Tiffany I will always remember his generous spirit and how he touched so many lives with his kindness. Thank you for your endless love that helps me through each day. Thank you for the memories that will never fade away. Your Loving Wife, Deborah
