Obituary For Johnnie Barr
Mr. Johnnie Barr of Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest on March 12, 2024. Mr. Barr was the son of the late Simon Anderson and Evangelist Grace Barr-Corley and Mr. Abraham Corley, Jr who raised him as a son, the father of; LaToya Jamison, Juan Gordon, Sr. (Nathena), Shawnte' Footman (Shawn), Shajuan Gordon, Sharee LaPrade-Alderman (Robert), Latuan Gordon (Heather)and Shaneka Gordon, the brother of; Samuel Barr, Jr. (Maxine), Mary Welch (Marion), Jimmy Barr, Elder Cathy Salley (Gregory), Simon Anderson, Jr., Lorton Anderson, James Lee Anderson, Leroy Anderson (Cheryl), Terry J. Anderson, Mark A. Anderson, Bargie Anderson (Jennifer Brown), Michael Anderson, Queen E. Wade (Henry), Donna Gibson (Earl), Ruthmea Anderson, Diane President (Sam) and Sarah Anderson. The Home Going Service will take place on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, 11:00 AM at the Royal Missionary Baptist Church Life Center. He will be laid to rest in Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery. The visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at the funeral home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
