On behalf of the pastor, officers, and members of Greater Middleton Chapel, we send our deepest condolences to Sis. Paulette Alston and the family of Bro. Joseph 'Joey' Lance. Bro. Lance loved to sing on the choir. One of his favorite songs to sing was 'He's Sweet I Know.' The sound of his voice will be missing. He said that he was going to get bongos for the church. On his last Sunday at church, he beat the tambourine like a bongo. He enjoyed himself. On Saturdays, he would come and help around the church. He also attended Church School. We will truly miss Bro. Lance. May the Lord comfort, strengthen, and give you peace as you face the days ahead. With our love and deepest condolences, The Greater Middleton Chapel AME Church Rev. Dr. Dorine Fabor, Pastor Bro. Nathaniel Fabor, 1st Gentleman Rev. Jan Stokes, Asst. Minister 'EARTH HAS NO SORROW THAT HEAVEN CANNOT HEAL.'

Our condolences and prayers for the family during this difficult time. Joey was kind hearted loved by everyone he came in contact with. He was a good friend and was no unfamiliar face to Strawberry Lane where he used to sing on the corners with his buddies. We'll always remember you because you were a part of us.
