Obituary For Josephine McKelvey Wilson
Josephine McKelvey Wilson was born on August 10, 1944, in Goose Creek, South Carolina, to the late Sarah and Virgil McKelvey. She was a devoted mother, loving sister, caring aunt, and faithful friend whose kindness and joy touched all who knew her.
She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved son, Eric Wilson; her granddaughter, China Poinsette; her sisters, Elizabeth M. Edwards and Essie M. Davis (Samuel Davis); and a host of nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Wilhemenia M. Reese and Virginia M. Johnson. She also leaves behind her special friend, Lawton Anderson, who brought companionship and warmth to her life.
Josephine will be remembered for the love she shared, the laughter she brought, and the way she brought family and friends together. Her memory will remain a light in the hearts of all who knew her.
