Karseem Abdul Larrell Bahar, also known as Rell, passed away on December 20, 2023, in Charleston, SC, at the age of 35. He was born on August 10, 1988, in New York City.

Karseem was a loving and kind-hearted individual who cherished his time spent with family and friends. He had a special bond with his nieces and nephew, Leona Reed and Landis Reed, who adored him dearly. Karseem had a passion for food since childhood and always appreciated the delicious meals prepared by his sister. His infectious smile and laughter could light up any room, making him the life of the party. Despite facing unkindness from others, Karseem always maintained a kind heart.

Karseem leaves behind his beloved grandmother/mother, Shafeqah Bahar, his sister Khalilah Echi, his brother Khalil Vasquez, his aunt Shahidah Bahar, his uncle Abdul Khaaliq Bahar, and his cousins Daquan Bahar, Sakinah Green, and Amirah Bahar. He is also survived by his grand aunts and a host of cousins. Karseem was preceded in death by his mother, Zakiyyah Bahar, his father, Wendell Williams, and his great grandmother, Christine McKelvey.

Karseem attended River Middle School and Burke High School during his educational journey. In his free time, He enjoyed shooting fireworks on the holidays for the little children. He would often talk to the younger teens about staying out of trouble. He also enjoyed listening to music to relax.
