Obituaries

On September 26, 2023, Kenneth Gorham Went home to be with the Lord. He was born April 2, 1967 in Charleston, South Carolina to the late Mrs. Richardine Smith and the late Sam Smith.

He was the seventh of ten children. He was educated in the Charleston Public Schools. He was raised in St. Peters Church of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Savage Road hers in Charleston, SC., under the late Elder James Washington.

Kenny was a young man who loved to work. He would do construction work, maintenance repair work, pantry work and he also worked as a labor man and was also employed by Trojan Labor Company.

Kenny was a young man that (LOVES) his family and he would do anything to help others. He was a very neat and intelligent young man.

He loved cooking and cleaning. He would even help us raise our children. Kenny would always talk about the Lord when you look, he is preaching God's word. He would always say “God is a good God. He gave me another chance to see another day. I could have been dead. I love you and thank you for praying for me.

The Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, October 5, 2023, 4:00 PNM at the funeral home.
