Kivivett Latoya West Houston 42 of Ladson, SC passed on Thursday, January 6, 2022. Mrs. Houston is the wife of Tanya Houston. Daughter of B. L. Hayes(deceased) and Karen West. Mother of Dominque West, David West and Devin Houston. Daughter in law of Thelma Dozier and Calvin Houston. Sister of Corena West, Janet(Kenneth) Proctor, Calvin(Barbara) Houston. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM at The Royal Missionary Baptist Church Life Center. Burial will be private. The walk through will be on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 6:00PM -8:00PM at The Low Country Mortuary.

Ms. West was a caring young lady. She took me under her arm when we was working together at the Vision. She had a caring heart for all the children plus the staff that was in her presence. Love you Ms. West. You will be truly missed but not forgotten ❤️❤️

The days of excessive laughter at our lunchroom table have long since passed us by. Sharing intimate moments of becoming first time moms together and none us knew what we were doing lol We should never let that much time slip away before we all get together and bring back those precious memories. I regret not doing that and I only wish we had the chance to be those silly teenagers again. May your soul rest in eternity. You will be greatly missed!
