I was very saddened to hear of Leslie's passing. My heart goes out to her family and close friends. Leslie and I pledged Delta Sigma Theta, Inc at Winthrop University together. She was a sweet person. She was uplifting and always had a kind word to say. Rest in peace, my Soror.

Leslie was such a special person. She was one of the first people I met when I moved to Charlotte - We worked at Applebees together. She told me all about her favorite spots to shop and visit and eat. And made sure I got to know my new home! We laughed so many times together and always had fun together at work. After I left Pineville we stayed in touch and spoke at least every couple months. Her smile would light up a room! She made sure everyone felt welcome and valued! I will miss her dearly! Rest In Peace Leslie!!! ❤️❤️❤️

My heart is full. I cannot believe I'm doing this today. I can only imagine what you guys must be feeling right now. Leslie was without a doubt one of the most beautiful people I know inside and out. She was always helpful always sharing. I met her about 6 years ago through our Avon affiliations. we didn't see one another a lot over the last two years because of the pandemic. The last time together was at a Christmas event called Soulful Noel as we celebrated a friends birthday it was a great time we laughed and talked briefly but mostly we were all just happy to be together and that was how it always was whenever we got together. I can't imagine the world without Leslie in it. She was a bright light in this world and she will be forever missed. My sincere condolences to the family. May you find comfort in knowing prayers are being lifted up for you. Leslie is resting now and we will see her soon again!
