This is "Doc" your next door neighbor at 28 Brisbane. I was in NC when your dad passed and didn't know about it until after the funeral. I just wanted you to know that I considered your father one of my very best friends. My wife, Frances, loved him too. I was very much saddened to hear about his passing. He was always very upbeat and positive about his condition . My wife, Frances, was helped so much by Mack sending her the meditation passages every day during the last years of her life. It gave her strength to continue forward. He was a great, kind and gentile person and he will be sorely missed. Dr. William McLean

We are so saddened to hear that Mack passed away. Our deepest sympathy to his family and friends. He was such a caring person and a great source of support for my mom, Frances, and dad, Bill McLean, especially during her long battle with cancer. Mack sent my mom a Bible verse and words of encouragement every single day while she was sick. My mom would hear her phone ping and say "oh that must be Mack." Mack's faith and friendship meant so much to them and our family. I would often be at my parent's house in the Parkshore neighborhood during the holidays and I would get to spend some time with Mack around our kitchen table talking when he stopped by. Our lives were blessed and enriched and we were lucky to have known Mack. We will miss him. Donald Wishart and Angela McLean Wishart
