Obituary For Mark Phoenix

Mr. Mark Phoenix of Johns Island, SC entered into eternal rest on January 25, 2024. Mr. Phoenix was the son of Agustus Rampersant and Maria Julia Ramsey Phoenix.

He Leaves to Cherish His Memories:

3 Daughters, Denise Richardson, Christin Phoenix, Ashley Phoenix and 1 Son, Mark Phoenix. Grandchildren: Beauty Richardson, Laila Rose Phoenix, Princeton Richardon, MyKing Richarson, and Majesty Richardson.

Three Siblings Preceeded Him in Death:

Thomas Phoenix, Luther Phoenix, and Janet P. Odom.

Siblings: Mrs. Lillie Mae Clinton (Russell) of Killeen, Texas. Mr. Nathaniel Phoenix (Alneitha Leola), Mrs. Rose Chilsom (Phillip), Ms. Annabell Dawson, Ms. Irenee Wilson (NY), Carrie Pickney, Hollin Snipe (Henrietta), Ms. Loris Jenkins (Jacob) (NY), Joseph Snipe (Janie), Roy Snipe (Karen), Beverly Solomon, Anthony Snipe (Marceda), Rev. William Snipe (Janet), Mother-In-Love Mrs. Carolyn Frazier, and Aunt-In-Love Ms. Toni Mitchell and Host of Nieces and Nephews.

The Home Going Service will take place on Saturday, February 3, 2024, 11:00 AM at the City Church of Charleston, 913 Wappoo Rd. Charleston, SC. He will be laid to rest in St. James AME Church Cemetery, Johns Island, SC. The Walk Thru will take place on Friday, February 2, 2024 at the funeral home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

    Mark and my wife & I shared some special times as vendors at 3rd Thursday events in Downtown Summerville. We were always lucky enough to be set up next to "Big Daddy". He will always be remembered by us as a very kind and generous person. Always had a smile and a positive response to everyone. We will forever miss him. Gary & Marsha Nordyke.

    The family has lost another legend about 2 weeks apart. God knows best. Mark will be greatly missed as cousins we feel that we will grow very old together. We all have to leave this earth and we all have numbers;we just don't what it is. Live life to the fullest, love your family, but most of all put God first. My condolences to my family.
