Obituary For Marvelo Re Thompson

Mr. Marvelo Re Thompson of Summerville, SC entered into eternal rest on August 27, 2022. Mr. Thompson was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles D. and Eunice Thompson and the husband of Mrs. Charlia Thompson, the father of; Tiara Thompson, April Miller, Terrence Green, Antonio Lamont Green, the brother of; Phyllis Ward, Arthur Douglas Thompson, Pamela Lynette McBride, Valasco "Val", Michael "Mike" Sheldon Thompson, Glenna C Alexander (Ernest), Rolando Orin "Jay", Thompson, Thomas Vro "Tommy" Thompson, Sudara A (Sudie) Thompson, the grandfather of; Daquan Green, Deon"Slugga" Sams, Antonio Lamont Green, Jr., Deontrez Zellars, Ta'Naysia Green and Envy Green and the uncle of; Collin Thompson, Christian Thompson,, Victoria Thompson, Rolando Thompson, Jr. and Cameron Thompson The Home Going Service for Mr. Thompson will take place on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, 11:00 AM at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 106 Boone Street, Summerville, SC. He will be laid to rest with military honors at Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery. The Walk Thru will take place on Monday, September 5, 2022 at the funeral home from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

    I also became friends with Marvelo in 1969 at Walnut Hills High School. He was a very special friend and will be on our minds and in our hearts forever. God be with the family and all of us as his lifelong friends. He is in the His presence as we mourn. God bless!!

    My prayers go out to the family of brother Marvelo Thompson. A man I met in the 7th grade, we had a lot of enjoyable times including participating on Walnut Hills High School athletic teams. To the family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Know that he is peacefully in God's bosom.
