Marvin it is so heartbreaking that you are no longer on this earth, I thought of you as a son for many years. I enjoyed our talks when you stayed with me and my husband. I enjoyed taking care of your daughter, my granddaughter . Saying you were a light to my family is an understatement. I will miss you ,and know you were always a light to those who knew you. Rest in Peace in the arms of Jesus

Over the last four years, Marvin and his beautiful wife Heather found a season of life filled with steady love, laughter, and companionship. The life he built with Heather was one rooted in support, friendship, and showing up for each other every single day. Those who were close to him witnessed a relationship built on real partnership — quiet moments, shared burdens, inside jokes, and standing side by side through life's challenges. He was deeply loved, not just in words, but in actions. And that love surrounded him in his final years in a way that brought him peace. We will remember him for the life he lived, the friendships he treasured, and the love that was present and constant in his world. Heather and the kids are in our thoughts and prayers. Stay strong through these times of trials, while the demons try to tear you down just remember Marvin has not left your side. We love you both dearly.

To my loving husband , We had our ups and downs, but through it all, we always loved one another. Our bond is one I will never forget. Thank you for the many beautiful years we shared together. Thank you for our sweet, beautiful daughter. Thank you for caring for, loving, and supporting your stepchildren as your own. Thank you for being such an incredible grandfather to our three beautiful granddaughters. They will always carry your love with them. Thank you for always being my best friend through everything. I will never forget the sacrifices you made for me and the kids. Thank you for serving our country and for being the strong, loving man that you were. I love you, Marvin. You will forever be in my heart. Until death do us part... until I see you again.

My angel. I still cannot believe you aren't here. I thank God for every single second of the last 4 years of our life together. Every time I see our matching tatoo on my arm I think of every smile, every laugh, every conversation. You are my very best friend. My soul, my heart, my fiancé, my greatest love story. Your last words to me were "I love you baby, goodnight". If I had known, I would have never gone to sleep, just to watch your beautiful face. You were the biggest blessing in mine and the boys' lives. You are my forever. I love you Marvin. Always. Thank you for showing me a depth of love, honor, intimacy, and respect, that most go a lifetime without experiencing. We were planning the rest of our lives together. We were getting married on our 4 year anniversary. Every single day and night with you was my favorite. You will never know how many lives you affected for the better in this realm. You are light and joy. My heart is yours forever my love. Goodnight sweetheart. 💜🙏😭

It's hard to believe that you left this earth and returned to your permanent home with Jesus. "Our Father Claims His Own" There's an open gate at the end of the road Through which each must go alone, And there is a light we cannot see Beyond the gate our loved one Finds happiness and rest, and there is Comfort in the thought That a loving God Knows best. RIP, Marvin
