Obituary For Murray Smith

MSgt. Murray Smith USAF Retired Veteran, was born on October 18, 1946 in Bamberg County South Carolina. He was the son of the late Mr. Willard Sr. & Mrs. Geneva Hicks Smith. He entered into eternal rest peacefully on November 20, 2023.

He was the husband of Rosie “Blondell” Smith, the father of Tradene B. Thompson (Robert L.) and the grandfather of; Aaron M. Hunter, Courtney M. Little (De'Lonte) Raven L. Hines (Jamie)Sean P. Bright II (Khaniece), Collin M. Bright (Mariam) and Taylor Rose Smith Bright, the great grandfather of; Ethan N. Little, Zoe G. Little, Peyton J. Hines, Josiah L. Hines and Saint Joseph Bright Dobay, the brother of; Willard Smith Jr. ( Deceased) Margo, Helen Williams (John), Charles L. Smith ( Deceased) Margaret, Jessie Mae Radford ( Morris) Jimmie Smith ( Deceased) Sylesta and Deborah A Dobson (Otis), the brother in law of; Herman L. Mitchell (Deceased) Harold R. Mitchell (Deceased) Jacqui, Parker G. Mitchell (Deceased) Pecola, David R. Mitchell (Deceased) Rhonda, Annie L. McRae (Deceased) Jeanette Capers (Deceased) Perry, William (Avaita) Pinder, Miriam M. (Walter) Henderson, Joan R. Simpson (Deceased) Will, Dixie L. Walker (Deceased) Bobby, Linda S. Miles, Rayford B. (Daisy) Mitchell, Panshella G. Cole, Kelvin M. (Elaine) Mitchell, Craig F. (Ancetha) Mitchell, Adrian K. Mitchell and James B. Singleton.

He had a host of very special Aunts, Cousins, Friends Nephews, Nieces, Uncles. He Loved his family & The Lord.

The Walk thru will take place on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at The Low Country Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

The Home going Service will take place on Thursday, November 30, 2023 @ 9:00AM at Union Baptist Church 4428 Piggly Wiggly Drive, N. Charleston, SC 29405.

MSgt. Murray Smith USAF Retired Veteran will be laid to rest on November 30, 2023 @ 12 PM at Fort Jackson National Cemetery 4170 Percival Road
Columbia, SC 29229.
