Please accept my condolences. I am going to miss Nick. I will miss hearing him call out Hi Buddy when we would see each other. He was always thoughtful and polite. I will miss hearing him talk of his next favorite movie coming out and waiting to see it. Everyone will miss driving by his home and seeing his art work and stopping to see it. He did such a great job on it. We talked a couple of weeks ago about the virus messing things up, like going out to eat or to the movies. But we both agreed that it was in God's hands and he would take care of us. I am glad we talked about this, for I believe we will see each other again. Miss you buddy. Jack Robinson

Please accept my condolences 💐.

In 2005, a person named Nicholas Randolph reached out to my law office asking if I was "Rick Collins the Actor" who had appeared in the "Toxic Avenger" movies about a superhero from New Jersey. They told him I was. A few days later, I got a three page letter from Nicholas introducing himself. Over the next 16 years, Nicholas sent me countless cards, notes and sketch drawings, some of me in my film roles. He had enormous artistic talent. Although we never met in person, he would call my office periodically with questions about movies, acting, bodybuilding, and, of course, what I liked to eat. We had many conversations about his love of superheroes, pizza, IHOP, and chocolate chip cookies. Knowing how much he loved some of the movies I was in, one year I signed a film poster and asked my co-star to sign it, too, and then I sent it to Nicholas. It's the only poster signed by both of us. Nicholas was one of the sweetest, kindest souls I've ever known. I had received my annual birthday card from him just days before he passed. I am left now with a reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of not only appreciating the people in your life, but also the importance of letting them know it. The world is poorer for his absence, but everyone who knew him is richer for having had the blessing to have known him. I will miss him. Rest in peace, my friend. ~ Rick Collins
