  Condolences to the family and friends of Paul Simmons. May Jehovah God continue to comfort and strengthen the family during this time of bereavement. Continue to focus on the loving and cherished memories of Paul and may they help his friends have peace of mind. A comforting promise is stated at Isaiah 25:8a "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces."

  Uncle Jafar "Unc" You will be greatly missed and appreciate all of conversations about your childhood and sharing memories of my parents' childhood. I remember you gave me a basketball when I was younger, and whenever you were back in New York you attended every basketball game of mine you could. Thank you for instilling confidence in me, and for being a very supportive "Unc". I'll love you and your family forever....Sleep in Paradise king!

  My heart is so very heavy right now. Words cannot express how I'm feeling. I learned of Paul, who we called in the St. Nicholas Projects (NYC) "Brother Simmons" demise on yesterday, July 22nd. "Brother" has been my friend since we were 13 years old, growing up in Harlem. I will always remember our conversations of laughter and remembrance of the past. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. He will be truly missed by his childhood friends back in the projects (NYC). I pray that God will wrap His arms of comfort, strength and healing around his family and friends. We love you "Brother," but God loved you more. REST. IN. PARADISE. BROTHER!
