Please accept our sincere condolences during your time of bereavement. Rev., Williams was our Pastor at Mays Chapel U.M.C., Branchville, SC. This was his last appointment before he retired. He was a kind and compassionate pastor with a wonderful sense of humor. We had plans for him to come and share a meal with my family which included a salmon recipe he was going to prepare for us. Because of COVID-19 an other health reasons we didn't get the opportunity to accomplish this. We thank God for the opportunities we had to talk with him by phone. May God's presence continue to comfort you and the family. God Bless. The Eisom Family

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. We recently became related through the marriage of his son and our niece. Although I only met him a couple of times' it was clear to me his love of his family. He was a gentle and kind soul and will be missed by anyone who knew him. I pray for strength for his family and friends during this difficult time. May we all find some comfort in knowing he was a man of God and now serves him in heaven.

I extend my sincere condolences to the Williams and Stewart family. Mark was my elementary school friend who kept us laughing in class; most of those times we shouldn't have been laughing at all. It still makes me smile. I will always cherish his memory. I pray God's peace be with you all so that your hearts are comforted. Cheryl Whipper Hamilton

Robin Carson and I mourn your loss. Our prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Over the last 22 plus years we have had the pleasure of knowing Mark. From the day we met him to our last visit with him we knew he was a special person. A man of faith, strength and compassion he was always ready to provide us with words of hope. We will miss his many visits to have a chat and coffee. As his mobility issues increased we would more frequently stop by to visit Mark, many times with a Columbian Coffee in hand for him. During those many visits we would have conversations about his health, our health, his family and friends. Even as he battled his own illness, he was always checking on how we were doing and tell us he had us in his prayers. Mark touched our lives and we saw many of the people he had also touched stop by to check on him or lend a hand when he needed it. Many people you may not personally know or see were positively influenced by Mark. That was just the kind of person Mark was. We know he now strengthens the kingdom of heaven!
