Obituary For Robert and Leola Kornegay, Sr.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Leola Kornegay, Sr. entered in to eternal rest on October 28, 2021 and October 30, 2021 respectively. They were the parents of; Robert (Lynee) Kornegay, Jr., Darrell Kornegay and Corey (LaQuentis) Kornegay, The siblings of David Kornegay, Rosa Spencer, Shirley Ruffin, Betty Davis, Coretha Jenkins, LaQuetta Jenkins and John James Washington, the grandparents of; Tyrell Kornegay, Ronee Kornegay, Caila Kornegay, Quentin Kornegay, Corey kornegay, Jr. and Adrien Kornegay. The home Going Service honoring their lives will take place on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, 11:00 AM at Jerusalem Baptist Church , 684 Rutledge Ave., Charleston, SC. They will be laid to rest at Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery in N. Charleston. There will be no Walk Thru.

I am so sorry for the loss of two well loved, Robert and Leola. I knew them so well, growing up in 274 W. 119 St. They were family to the Lopez clan. So many things we experienced together. I will always remember the good times we shared. Death is our enemy but one day death will be no more...according to Rev. 21:3,4. One day soon God promises that our dead love ones will be resurrected from death to a beautiful paradise to come - John 5:28,29; Psalm 37:29. I hope this will give you comfort. I send my love to the family.
