Robert E. Walker. The first son of the late
Bessie Mae Carter and the late Calvin Fenderson Sr.
On July 15, 2023, an Angel of the Lord came down to
escort Robert to rest peacefully in his heavenly home.
Robert was born in Millbrook, Alabama and completed his educational journey in Cleveland, OH. Robert retired honorably from the US Navy after serving 20 years of service. He was very entrepreneurial, he owned a moving company in California and sold insurance, as he would proudly say “ObamaCare.”Robert managed airports and held the title of Assistant Director of Transportation for Berkeley County Schools. Robert loved listening to music, having a good laugh, his wife, children and adored his grandchildren.

Bessie Mae Carter, father Calvin Fenderson, Sr., and
brother Calvin Fenderson Jr. Those left to cherish his
memories: his wife, Wilhelmenia; stepdaughters,
Tiffany Evans (Rico) and Kristinia Singleton; sons,
Cash Lamar Walker (Racquel), Christopher Robin
Walker (Donnette), and Robert Lawrence Walker;
grandchildren, Cashyra Walker, Camora Walker,
Krishay Walker, and Kristah Mae Walker; sisters, Denita Joyce Carter, Felecia Kay Carter, Andrea
Carter, Michelle Carter, Brenda Webster (Eugene),
Angela Dubney, and Simone Fenderson; brothers,
Artemus Carter, Kendrick Cannon, and Derrick
Massengale; aunts, Selena Spann, Bertha Brown
(David), Virginia Swann, Cynthia Edwards, Bernice
Sistrunk, and Ashley Batchelder; uncles, Matthew
Fenderson (Lilly),Jeff Fenderson (Fannie), and Warren
Arthur Walker; special cousin, Frank; and a host of
nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The Home Going Service will take place on Saturday, July 29, 2023, 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
