Mrs. Major was the wife of Mr. Abraham Major Sr.(Deceased); the loving mother of; Abraham Major, Jr(Deceased); Elijah Major(Deceased); Linda R. Major-Johnson, Blondell Major, Nathaniel Major, Ronald Lee Major, Sr, Phillip(Sharon) Major, Ricky Major, Esau C. Major, Anthony Lee Major, the loving sister of, Bernice Gilliard. Private Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, May 09, 2020 at the St. Peters A.M.E. Church Cemetery 4760 Sanders Avenue, North Charleston, SC. There will be a walk thru on Friday, May 08, 2020 at 5PM-6PM. The family will be receiving visitors at 2686 Madden Drive North Charleston, SC.

My condolences to the family of Rosa Major. I pray God continues to comfort and strengthen the family during this time of bereavement. May the many loving and cherished memories of Rosa continue to comfort her family and friends. A comforting thought is at Psalm 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress." May you all have calming and pleasant thoughts during this time.

Aunt Rose, you will always be remembered as the calm and easy going person you were. I am glad I had a chance to see you in December when you knew who I was. I will remember that visit forever. You are now surrounded by your husband, children, parents and siblings. Rest in heavenly peace!
