Obituary For Sadie Mae Gibbs
Ms. Sadie Mae Gibbs of Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Ms. Gibbs was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James and Bessie Haynes, the wife of the late Mr. Edward Gibbs, the mother of; Jerry Travis, John L. Smalls (Angel), Ronald Smalls (Pamela), Francis Simmons (The late Clifford), and Thomas R. Smalls, the sister of; Woodrow Reed (JoAnn), Florence Lambright (Matthew), Richard Haynes (Dorothy), James Haynes (Rose), Lucille Hawkins and Oliethia Maxwell (the late Hector). The Home Going Service for Ms. Gibbs will take place on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, 12:00 noon at the Azalea Drive Church of Christ, 3950 Azalea Drive, N. Charleston., SC. She will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The Walk Thru for Ms. Gibbs will take place on Monday, April 4, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone is required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing.
