Hello everyone. My name is Dawn. I'm the daughter of Viola who is his niece. I'm speaking on her behalf because she is not well. My happy memory of Uncle Sammy was when my mom and I traveled to New York one year to visit him. My goodness the flights of steps we had to go up to get to his apartment whew wee!! Mom and I thought we would never get to the floor he lived on. Lol!😄 We were out of breath and laughed and said " How does he do this every day?" He must be in excellent shape! Anyway...he was very cheerful with such a happy smile. He was so happy to see mom and me. He was a wonderful host. Viola and Sammy used to chat on and off for many years. Mom loved him dearly. We wish the family Gods comfort, peace and blessings during this time of bereavement. Earnestine Moiltrie was a true angel and source of comfort, help and strength to our Uncle Sammy. We thank God for her and all of her hard work and care during his final years. She is a true example of Christian love. 🙋‍♀️🙏✝️💕⚘🙂
