May God grant the Moore family strength to go through this tough time. I say thanks to Mr. Moore, my father, for giving me life. Though, I never really knew you and only met you once, I must say that I have been blessed throughout my lifetime. I stumbled upon this obituary and after reading it, I felt that I needed closure. I enjoyed the beautiful tributes and memories of you and wished that I had the opportunity to know you as such. It seems that you were an awesome man and I am grateful to God for that. Much love and forgiveness to you and may you rest in peace. Love, your daughter. RC

To: Mrs. Louise "Weezie" Moore & Family It is with heartfelt sympathy that I express my condolences to the Moore family upon the departure of Mr. Ulysses. Mr. Ulysses was one of the kindest, loving, caring, most empathetic person I have known. He always greeted me with a big smile and a hearty laugh. Mr. Ulysses always asked about my mother, my children and my family as a whole, whenever or wherever he saw me. He was a family man and a down-to-earth person. I truly missed seeing him riding his bike along Ashley River Road as his health became a challenge. Louise, you were the apple of Mr. Ulysses' eyes. Whatever it took, he would find a way to come to visit you on the island. The love he had for you and Markie was most admirable; and then, there were the grandkids. Mr. Ulysses was a generous neighbor and my mom was as fond of him as he was of her. I know you will miss him and I pray that in time God will wipe all tears from your eyes and give you peace during this time of sorrow. I'm so grateful for all the years God allowed you all to be together. I pray God's blessings upon you and the family. Continue to hold to God's unchanging hands. I will keep the Moore family in prayer. Much love, Debbie Weston Grace
