Obituary For Vegas Darcellus Poinsette

Mr. Vegas Darcellus Poinsette, the beloved son of the late Mr. Earl Anthony Poinsette, Sr. and Mrs. Mary Etta Davis was born in Charleston, South Carolina on September 8, 1972. He departed this life on August 22, 2024.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his mother; Mrs. Mary Etta Davis (Mr. Stan Maurice Davis), five children; Nautia Giles, Tra' Vegas Poinsette Green, Darcellus Fishburne, Wisdom Fishburne and Vegas Fishburne all of South Carolina, four grandchildren; Tee Jay Mazyck, Israel Green, Levi Green and Ke' Zyah Green, three brothers; Keyshon Anthony Poinsette, Earl Anthony Poinsette, Jr. and Avery McMilligan, four sisters; Artika Kanani Poinsette, Asia Poinsette, Tonya Drayton and Eshena Davis and a host of loving uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

The Home Going Service will take place on Saturday, September 7, 2024, 12:00 noon at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, 1561 Mosstree Rd. N. Charleston, SC. He will be laid to rest in Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery. The Walk Thru will take place on Friday, September 6, 2024 at the funeral home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
